Little Feet, Big Grace: The Aarav Junior Story
1 October 2026 · 4 min read
Why kids' footwear — and why now
It started at a school gate. Watching parents negotiate one more pair of shoes that pinched by noon, scuffed by Friday and fell apart by term's end, we asked the question behind AARVIKA itself: why should the beauty and comfort of Indian craftsmanship wait until adulthood?
Children outgrow pairs faster than we can make them — that is the honest truth of kids' footwear. But what a pair does in the months it is worn matters enormously. Growing feet spend their days running corridors, climbing staircases and standing through assemblies, and they feel every shortcut a maker takes.
Designed around a school day
Aarav Junior is built from the child's day backwards. Cushioned footbeds that hold their shape through seven hours. Flexible, grippy soles for corridors, courtyards and the inevitable staircase photos. Fastenings little hands can master in seconds — hook-and-loop straps before laces, slip-ons before buckles.
Our 50-wear test now has its youngest testers. Every style survived weeks of real children before it earned the AARVIKA name — because a shoe a child forgets they're wearing is the whole point.
Six moments, one collection
We sized the whole idea down, not just the shoes. School shoes that polish-and-go in black and navy. Sports sneakers for the field and the free period. Mary Janes and festive juttis that finish the occasion outfit. Canvas play pairs that shrug off scuffs. And cosy slippers for the quiet hours at home.
Every pair carries the same hand-finished detail as our women's line — the embroidery simplified for hard wear, never left off.
The fit promise
Junior sizes UK 2–8 with room where growing feet need it. Our size guide walks you through measuring at home, and every pair ships with our 7-day easy returns — because the truest test happens on your child's feet, not ours.
We keep stock honest: if a size is sold out, the page says so plainly, and low sizes say exactly how many remain. No guessing games at checkout.
